These beautiful Kuntanawa Kuripes are handcrafted by the very talented artisans in the Kuntanwa Tribe of the Brazilan Amazon.
Each one is lovingly made from bone and meticulously embellished with shades of grey fimo, in a flower design. Decorated with Red Mulungu Seed on one side and a Cowrie Shell on the other side.
The Mulungu tree is used in the Brazilian Amazon for many medicinal purposes. Its Seed represents a rich symbol of the process of living and dying. It is a complete circle of life.
Cowrie shells are used for good luck, abundance, and protection for many generations in many different cultures.
